This Dua Will Change Your Life

I want to give you a tool that you can use, not just when you have problems in calling to the truth but also when you have any problem in life. And this is the dua that Allah mentions in the Quran, the dua of Prophet Yunus, Jonah, (peace be upon him).

A Life Changing Dua

I know people personally, including myself, whose lives have been completely transformed. And it might be that Allah doesn’t necessarily remove the problem from you, but He makes your heart open and turns the negative into a positive so you’re able to cope with this problem in a beautiful manner.

And this is what happened with Prophet Yunus, Jonah, (peace be upon him). So, Jonah is in the belly of this huge fish, and what happens is he makes a dua and cries out in distress to his Lord.

Sometimes we remember Allah in the depths of the night and we’re sitting alone making dua, we recall out to Allah, we have a one-to-one connection with Allah, and we’re feeling distress… And if you use this dua:

None has the right to be worshipped but you oh God, glorified are you and truly I have been one of the wrongdoers! (Quran 21:87)

This is so beautiful. We’re saying to Allah we were indeed wrong, so you are the only God, and indeed we are from the wrongdoers. So, we’re asking for the last permission to give forgiveness to us, but it’s in such a lovely way.

As soon as Yunus (peace be upon him) made this dua, his troubles are lifted.

We have to have this expectation in Allah. When you have a problem and feeling heavy on your shoulders, use this dua and you’re going to feel so light and so amazing.
