One of the great challenges that we have spiritually is focus and concentration in our prayer.

This leads to our prayers feeling flat, and eventually leading to us possibly losing motivation in performing them.

What happens to sins during Prayers

One of the main roadblocks is not having the ability to understand what the Imam is reciting.

However, a hadith of the Prophet (peace and blessings and blessings upon him) tells us about a beautiful aspect of Salah. You might not understand what is being recited, but this hadith reveals something that will make you understand Prayers better; it will make you happier.

Ibn Umar reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

“When a slave stands in prayer, all of his sins are brought and placed on his head and shoulders. So, every time he bows down (in Ruku`) or prostrates himself (in Sujud), the sin start falling down.” (Sahih, Ibn Hibban)
