#instagramadan 3.19 – God Loves to Pardon – one of the beautiful differences between God and creation comes in this dua taught to us by the Prophet (pbuh) through his wife, our mother Ayesha (r); she asked the Prophet (pbuh) what dua she should make if she were to be worshiping on the Night of Power. He responded to her advising her to say, "Oh Allah, you are The Pardoner, you love to pardon, so please pardon me!" Human beings find it difficult to forgive due to our ego when we feel like we've been wronged. Allah, despite being wronged by us on a daily basis, loves it when we turn to Him asking for forgiveness and pardon. The only thing holding us back is us.

God loves to pardon; He loves forgiveness

One of the beautiful differences between God and creation comes in a duaa taught to us by the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) through his wife, our mother Aisha May Allah be pleased with her.

She asked the Prophet what duaa she should make on the Night of Qadr. He advised her to say, “O Allah! You are the One who pardons greatly and loves to pardon, so pardon me.“

We find it difficult to forgive due to our ego.

But Allah Subhanahu wa ta`ala loves that we turn to Him asking for pardon no matter how much or how big the sins and mistakes we do.

Allah’s forgiveness and pardon are limitless. We find it difficult to forgive due to our ego. Allah, however, loves that we turn to Him for pardon.

The only thing holding us back is us.
