5 Scariest Questions in the Day of Judgment

Compiled by Reading Islam Team.

Allah says:

Then We will surely question those to whom [a message] was sent, and We will surely question the messengers. (Quran 7: 6)

The Day of Judgment is the eternal abode, the final destination in our journey, the endless life where there will be either the everlasting life in Paradise or endless life in Hell.

That Day, everyone will stand in front of God. Everyone is accountable of his own deeds. Allah says in the following verse:

Then We will surely relate [their deeds] to them with knowledge, and We were not [at all] absent. (Quran 7: 7)

The Day every soul will find what it has done of good present [before it] and what it has done of evil, it will wish that between itself and that [evil] was a great distance. And Allah warns you of Himself, and Allah is Kind to [His] servants. (Quran 3: 30)

the endThe First Question

The first question that we will be asked on the Day of Judgment is about the Prayer. If it was performed correctly, we will be saved.

Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said:

The first thing for which a person will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection will be his Salah. If it is found to be complete then it will be recorded as complete, and if anything is lacking He will say: ‘Look and see if you can find any voluntary prayers with which to complete what he neglected of his obligatory prayers.’ Then the rest of his deeds will be reckoned in like manner. (Ahmad)

The 5 Questions

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said that:

The two feet of the son of Adam will not move from near his Lord on the Day of Judgment until he is asked about five (matters) concerning his life – how he spent it; about his youth – how he took care of it; about his wealth – how he earned it; and where he spent it and about that which he acted upon from the knowledge he acquired. (At-Tirmidhi)

So we will be questioned about:

1. Our life and how we spent it.

2. Our youth and how we spent it.

3. Our wealth and how we earned it.

4. Our wealth and how we spent it.

5. Our knowledge and how we acquired it.
