Muslim Athletes Make History in 2016

WASHINGTON – In a year full of challenges, Muslim athletes played the role of being the best ambassadors for their faith in different tournaments. Giving young Muslims a role model to follow, their achievements varied in different games, shining in Rio De Janeiro Olympic Games and winning different medals.

But the Olympics games were not the only area of success for Muslims in 2016, a lot of them did shine on other arena as well, getting decorated with honors and recognitions for their achievements in different countries around the world.
