How Will Everything End?

{And the heaven, We have constructed it mightily; and it is surely We Who have vast power, and keep expanding it.} [Surat Adh-Dhariyat 51:47].

The Qur’anic verses related to universe are evidently miraculous. Qur’an refers to the cosmos as “heavens and earth”, or simply “heavens”. And sometimes in the singular form “heaven, firmament or sky”.

Not only this, but the Qur’an can be a guiding light in the area of cosmogenic interpretations. In fact, this is an area that can never fall directly under human observation. That’s despite the fact that the abundant traces for the successive stages of creation which are still there in the outer space.
