LONDON – People are thanking Jayda Fransen, the deputy-leader of the far-right, anti-Muslim group, Britain First, after she shared a video of the adhan, or call to prayer, on her Facebook page.

“This is East London,” Fransen wrote in the post apparently seeking to stir people up against the mosque, IlmFeed reported.

After the video was posted, many Facebook users thanked her for sharing the ‘beautiful’ call to prayer to her followers.

The Adhan is the call to announce that it is time for a particular obligatory Salah (ritual prayer).

The Adhan is raised five times a day.

In November, Fransen posted three unverified anti-Muslim videos including ones titled “Muslim Destroys a Statue of Virgin Mary!” and “Muslim migrant beats up Dutch boy on crutches!”

They were retweeted by the US president, leading to international condemnation, including from Theresa May.
