Liverpool’s two Muslim stars Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane have won the 2019 Premier League Golden Boot with 22 goals apiece, BBC reported.
Liverpool star Mohamed Salah reveled in winning the Golden Boot once again on Sunday.
He posted an image with the prize and his daughter on Twitter with the words: “Yes, I know we have one at home. This is a new one.”

The Reds forwards ended the campaign as the division’s top scorers, alongside Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang of Arsenal.
Gabon forward Aubameyang who scored twice after the interval at Turf Moor said: “I share this trophy with two other guys I like, great players and African. We are representing Africa, that’s cool.
“I am happy we won, and I am sharing this [Golden Boot] trophy with two other guys I like. My team-mates knew about the Golden Boot, I said nothing. I did not want them to play and only focus on me. I am a team player.”
Last year, Salah scored 32 goals. That figure is the record for the most goals scored in a 38-game campaign.
While he was unable to match that spectacular tally, his 22 this campaign were still enough to secure a share of the prize.
Both Salah and Mane are practicing Muslims and often pray at the Liverpool Mosque and Islamic Institute, a 20-minute drive from Anfield.
