An Algerian young man has heroically saved a two-year-old toddler as she fell from an apartment window in Turkey, Euro News reported Thursday.
“I caught the child mid-air before she hit the ground,” 17-year-old Feuzi Zabaat said.
“I did what was necessary for the love of Allah.”
Zabaat, who was working in a frame workshop on the same street, noticed the Syrian toddler Doha Muhammed was about to fall from the window of her home in the Fatih district of Istanbul.
Therefore, he immediately positioned himself underneath the second floor apartment window and caught the girl before she hit the ground. Muhammed survived the accident without any injuries.
According to local media, the toddler approached the open window of the apartment while her mother was cooking in the kitchen.
In September 2018, France awarded citizenship to a Malian migrant, Mamoudou Gassama, nicknamed “Spiderman”, for scaling an apartment block with his bare hands to rescue a four-year-old boy dangling from a balcony.
The brave African Muslim, who had been in France illegally, received international acclaim for his heroic act when he scaled four floors with his bare hands to save the four year old, who was left unsupervised.
