Do you wish to get closer to Allah? This small deed will help! What is it? What small deed can we all do that will push us towards Allah? Even if we do nothing wrong, what can we possibly do to push us close to Allah?

Seek forgiveness! Your status is being elevated. By seeking forgiveness from Allah you are acknowledging the act that Allah is the Owner of forgiveness. Asking for forgiveness is an act of worship. 

Don’t think what did I do wrong and why do I need to seek forgiveness? It is important for us to turn to Allah and to seek forgiveness. We should ask for forgiveness 100 times a day. It doesn’t have to be in one sitting. Spread it out. But never fail to ask Allah for forgiveness!
