Her first contact with Islam was from a young Somali student. His answer to an assignment she had set him didn’t answer the question, where he explained how his family butchered meat. 

After that she went to Japan and found so many Muslims there. She started to read a lot of books on Islam in order to argue against Islam. Finally she found it was the right way for her. 

Before she became a Muslim she would describe herself a s a feminist until she realised what feminism really is. She believes that the Islamic sisterhood is the real feminism!
