Sister Lisha lost her mother at the age of 12 years old so she started to spend time with the elderly. She used to go on a Sunday to help them and so they would end up taking her to church. She would go and ask all kinds of questions like why would God take her mother? 

People thought she had great knowledge because she asked in-depth questions at such a young age. So she started lecturing in the Pentecoastal Church. One day she had problems saying “in the name of Jesus”, she just couldn’t say those words no matter how hard she tried. 

She knew there was a God and was determined to find the truth. One day she was debating with a Muslim co-worker and she asked him to see his book, the Quran. The lady who used to give her a ride home everyday told her she couldn’t get in her car with the Quran so she got out and walked. She was going to read the Quran no matter what.

She started to read the Quran but then passed out into a deep sleep. She woke up at 2:30 am after a bad nightmare. She was so frightened she rang 911 and told them she was hallucinating. She explained what happened and the operator told her that is OK. It is just God’s way of purifying you! He is taking all of the bad concepts out of your head and is going to be a  Muslim!  She then took the shahadah on the phone to the operator! However, she soon realised she hadn’t called 911 and had actually called the imam of the local mosque!
