When sister Aminah Assilmi (may Allah grant her Jannah) accepted Islam, her family could not tolerate it. One family member ended up in a mental institute, while another tried to kill her, subhanAllah.

Yet, she persevered, she lived her religion to the best of her ability and now most of her family members are Muslim, even the one who tried to kill her.

We have the chance to impact people and change their perception of Islam. We won’t achieve success if we are harsh and fanatical, we achieve it with calmness and gentleness.
