Traumatized at losing his sight, 9-year-old Abdul Moeen al-Hassan kicks and screams frantically as his heartbroken father tries to calm him.
The Syrian child was blinded when his home in Syria was bombed.
With his eyes and hands bandaged, he calls for his father, screaming: “Papa, papa, I can’t see.”
The boy was brought to hospital in Turkey for treatment and he could see only half meter in front of him now. He has a long journey towards recovery.
Charity One Nation, which offered to cover medical costs, has raised around £990 for Abdul Moeen al-Hassan and his family.
According to UNICEF, the one million children who live in the bomb-battered province of Idlib are at constant risk of attack.
