A group of Muslim doctors have joined hands to open a free clinic inside the Islamic Center of Cleveland Parma, northern Ohio.
“We have the ability, we have the potential, we have the resources,” Dr. Mansoor Ahmed, one of the doctors volunteering at the clinic, told WEWS-TV.
“Giving a little bit of your time, I think, goes a long way in making a difference in people’s lives,” he said.
Run by 20 Muslim doctors, the Cleveland Ibn Sina Clinic offers care services on weekends to uninsured patients from all religions and walks of life.
It will also offer treatment for sleep disorders, asthma, allergies, respiratory medicine, and mental health conditions.
Medical services and operations at the Islamic clinic will be financed through monthly donations and fundraising.
