Muslim Charity Opens Kitchen to Feed Poor Families in Hounslow

In an effort to serve those in need with dignity, Muslim Hands has opened a community kitchen to provide free meals for homeless people and low-income families in the London Borough of Hounslow.

The new project is a small restaurant providing free lunch between 12:00 pm-2:00 pm and free Dinner 6:00 pm-8:00 pm.

It aims to provide 100 hot, nutritious meals to the poor people twice a day throughout the week.

“We cannot ignore the hardships many people are facing on a daily basis,” Lakhte Hassanain, chairman of Muslim Hands said in a press release issued on December 3.

“Since 2012, Muslim Hands has been working to tackle issues of poverty, exploitation and exclusion within the UK,”
