A powerful 7.3-magnitude earthquake rocked the northern border region between Iran and Iraq earlier this week, killing more than 500 people and injuring thousands more.

- 70,000 made homeless and in need of shelter and aid.
- Rescuers battle to find survivors trapped under collapsed buildings.

Our local partner in Iraq has already sent IHP medicines to a hospital dealing with the casualties but says,
“We have to start sending medicines to up to 30 clinics, international medical teams and hospitals. The need is HUGE, we need more medicines ASAP”
