From Rohingya Camps, A Doctor Reports on Humanitarian Mission

The ongoing Rohingya crisis in Myanmar is a catastrophic humanitarian emergency that has claimed thousands of innocent lives and displaced more than 700,000. Those who have fled Myanmar to neighboring Bangladesh live in makeshift camps with very limited resources.

Dr Taruj Ali is currently on a humanitarian mission to Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh offering medical and humanitarian relief in the refugee camps. He has been reporting from the camps on a daily basis, reflecting the dire situation those vulnerable Muslims are living in.

The relief campaign is organized by Deccan Alumni Association of North America (DAANA), a registered non-profit organization in the US that have been sending many relief missions to the Rohingya camps.

Dr Taruj has kindly given us permission to highlight his posts.
