Muslim comedians are on a UK tour with new shows raising funds for the welfare of women in vulnerable environments.
The Super Muslim Comedy Tour is back, with even more big names in the comedy world, taking place in eight UK cities from 24 November to 1st December 2017.
Following the side-splitting success of the last two years, it is bringing a new line-up of renowned Muslim comedians.
The tour is presented by Penny Appeal, an international, UK based humanitarian charity, and the money raised will support women living in deprived and often dangerous environments around the world.
This is how Penny Appeal puts the announcement:
Hold on to your hats – the Super Muslims are coming! For the third year running, we’re assembling a league of super funny Muslims from both sides of the Atlantic to bring you a night of hilarity.
This laughter-inducing line-up is coming to 8 cities across the country from 24th November to 1st December – make sure you book early to get tickets for just £5 with our Early Bird offer.
We’ve got brand new acts, including American comic Mo Amer, described by Rolling Stones as one of the “10 Comedians You Need to Know,” as well as the brilliant Guz Khan.
We’re also welcoming back to the stage comedy superheroes Jeff Mirza, Azhar Usman, Omar Hamdi, Tez Ilyas, Ramy Youssef and Abdullah Afzal, with brand new material to get your cheeks chuckling and your sides splitting.
The tour is all in aid of our WoW – Women’s Welfare – projects. We’re working to overcome inequality and give women and girls the opportunities and freedom to be themselves.
