In the film, the brave young scientist from 11th century Arabia embarks upon a quest to uncover ancient mysteries that would change our world forever.

The Creators

The film directed by Ahmed Salim, stars late legendary actor Omar Sharif, Macey Chipping, voice over by Khalid Abdalla and features music composed exclusively by Sami Yusuf.

It was launched during the United Nations proclaimed International Year of Light and is produced by 1001 Inventions in partnership with UNESCO in 2015.
