I Want to Get Married, but My Family Doesn’t Take it Serious

24 March, 2020
Q I am really stressed out. I don't have my parents and I stay with my uncle, my brother and nani (who is paralyzed).

I have my dreams which I can't fulfill. I told them I want to get married, but they are not taking it seriously.

I'm very stressed and have mental issues that affect my health.

Salam Aleikom,

In this counseling video, you will learn:

Take the steps yourself: ask your friends or the people in the mosque whether they can help you find a spouse.

Try finding a part-time job.

Look for online courses.

It is possible to maintain your role in the house as well as pursuing your career. Think of your options.
