Answer
In the Name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful.
All praise and thanks are due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon His Messenger.
In this fatwa:
It is permissible for both of you to give ride to two or more sisters provided you are also two or more in number.
In his response to your question, Sheikh Ahmad Kutty, a senior lecturer and Islamic scholar at the Islamic Institute of Toronto, Ontario, Canada, states:
It is permissible for both of you to give ride to two or more sisters provided you are also two or more in number. Otherwise, it would be akin to the forbidden isolation with a member of the opposite sex.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, “Behold! A man is not alone with a woman but the third of them is Ash-Shaitan.” (At-Tirmidhi)
In other words, where there is isolation between members of the opposite sex, Shaytaan induces temptation and whispers evil thoughts whereby they may be misled to committing illicit actions.
So, Islam closes all doors to such temptations by forbidding such isolations in the first place.
Since the above rationale is not found when there is no such isolation because of the number it can be considered as permissible so long as all of you govern yourselves with the rules of Islamic ethics in male-female interactions.
Among such rules are: avoiding flirtatious talks or chats or speaking in tones or styles that are inappropriate and indecent or appearing in attire that are alluring.
May Allah protect us all against the evil inclinations ingrained in our nature-amen.
Almighty Allah knows best.
