Muslim Community Unites to Help Australian Farmers

Muslim Community is digging deep to support struggling farmers battling the worst drought in a century.

Mosques across Australia are raising funds that will be donated to those who are doing very tough on their land.

“We offer our moral support and this is the least we can do for them to pray and to also provide them some financial assistance from the Muslim community.” Mohammed Azhari of Burnada Mousqe said.

The Council of Imams Queensland (CIQ) organized the prayers at the Australian International Islamic College (AIIC) earlier this month.

Muslim Charitable Foundation (MCF) volunteers collected funds for drought stricken farmers at the prayers.
