It really hurts when someone is subjected to violence and abuse and has no option but to remain silent because they have no where to go.

RAHMA Organization has launched a campaign using Launchgood fundraising platform to raise money for their new project, RAHMA Housing. The organization is collecting donations in order to purchase a home to house, heal and support domestic violence victims.

According to their website, RAHAMA is a not-for-profit organization founded on Islamic principles dedicated to supporting women and children who are victims of domestic violence.

The project aims at providing transitional housing where women and their children will have a safe haven to rest. They will also be provided with halal meals, a place to pray, and access to local imams.
