Self Confidence … Not Arrogance

How do we distinguish between self-confidence and arrogance?

The story in this video starts with Satan, who used to be a devout worshiper.

Allah (SWT) allowed him to keep the presence of angels. But when He created Adam, and commanded them to prostrate to Adam, Satan refused.

Satan felt he was better than Adam, and for this reason refused to obey God’s command and was cursed.

Don’t look down at others. This is one of the main lessons from this story.

The opposite of arrogance is not humility, and many people seeking not to be arrogant look down on their self. That is a wrong understanding.

Arrogance is to look down on people and to debase them. So watch out of this hidden dimension of arrogance.
