The Powerful Dua of Prophet Muhammad

In the authentic hadith, Ibn Abbas narrated that he once prayed with the Prophet (peace be upon him) at the middle of the night, and the Prophet made the following dua.

Listen to the dua, it’s magic, it is not but the words of someone except a Prophet of God. And listen to how the Prophet called out to Allah, and imagine when was the last time you called out to Allah in the same way:

La ilaha illa Allah (There is no god but Allah)

Allahumma (Oh our Lord)

Anta nour samawat wal ard wa man feehin (You are the light of the heavens and the earth and whatever is in between)

Laka al hamd (For You is praise)

Anta fatiru samawati wal ardi wa man feehin (You are the originator of the heavens and the earth and that which is in it)

Laka al hamd (For You is praise)

Anta Qayyumu assamawati wal ardi wa man feehin (You are the Supporter and the Nourisher and the Cherisher and the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth and that which is in it)

Wa laka al-hamd (And for You is praise)

Allahumma anta Al Haqq (Oh Allah! You are the truth)

Wa Qawluka al Haqq

(And Your statement is true)

Wa Wa’duka al Haqq

(And Your promise is true)

Wal Jannatu haqq (And Paradise is true)

Wan-naru Haqq

(And the fire is true)

Wan-Nabiyyuna Haqq (And the prophets are true)

Wa Muhammad Haqq (And Muhammad (peace be upon him) is true)

Allahumma bika amant (O My Lord, I believe in you)

Wa alayka tawakkaltu (And upon You I have put my trust)

Wa ilayka Hakamtu (And to Your judgment I have submitted)

Wa Ilayka khasamt (And to You I complain)

Faghfirli ma qaddamtu wa ma akhartu (Forgive me that which I’ve done in the past and what I’ve yet to do)

Wa ma asrartu wa ma a’lantu

(And that which I have done publicly and that which I will do in secret)

Wa ma anta a’lamu bihi mini (And that which You know more about me than me)

Anta Al-Muqaddim wa anta Al-Mu’akhir (You are the First and You’re the Last)

La ilaha illa Anta (There is no god but You).

Are there any words more beautiful, other than the Quran, than these words?

Is there anything that is more beautiful, in existence at all, other than the Quran, by Allah, than these words that I just said?

This is how our Prophet (peace be upon him) pursued the pleasure of Allah by praising Him and worshiping Him in a way that no one could ever do. And this is how his heart connected with Allah.
