Message of Love Left Outside London Mosque

LONDON – A message of love was discovered outside a mosque in London on Sunday, June 4, in the aftermath of the London Bridge attack which claimed the lives of 7 people.

The words ‘London loves you’ is written below a heart which reads ‘Ramadan Mubarak’ on the pavement outside the Baitul Aziz Islamic Cultural Center which is located just a mile away from London Bridge, Ilmfeed reported.

An attack at London Bridge and Borough Market on Saturday, June 3, left seven people dead and 48 injured. Police have reportedly shot dead three attackers.

It started at about 10:08pm on Saturday when a white van driving about 50mph struck pedestrians on London Bridge and then continued toward Borough Market.

The van continued down Borough High Street where it crashed outside the Barrow Boy and Banker pub.

The suspects then left the vehicle and a number of people were stabbed, including an on-duty British Transport Police officer who sustained serious injuries.

Amidst all the blames been heaped on Muslims for the attack, Muslim taxi drivers stood out to offer help to London people, supplying them with free rides, food and a place to stay in.
