The RIS (Reviving the Islamic Spirit) Convention in Toronto held a special panel with prominent interfaith leaders from the US.

The title of this session held in December 2015 was Interfaith Panel – “We are ALL in this Together: An Abrahamic Alliance in Troubled Times.”

The panelists in this session were Pastor Bob Roberts, Rabbi Batya Steinlauf, Cardinal Theodore McCarrick, Imam Khalid Latif, Dr. William Vendley and the moderator of the session Dr. Mohamed ElSanousi.

In a spirit of positive relations, this interesting dialogue dealt with a number of important issues to the three Abrahamic faiths, and discussed areas of cooperation and mutual support of the followers of the three religions for peace.

Imam Khalid Latif, the American Muslim representative in this session, is University Chaplain at New York University and a leading young Muslim leader in America today.Interfaith
