Refugees Rescue Neo-Nazi German Politician

CAIRO – Syrian refugees have rescued a neo-Nazi German politician after his car crashed in a serious traffic accident near Frankfurt.

The refugees had “likely performed a very good, humane deed,” Jean Christoph Fiedler, a regional National Democratic Party of Germany (NPD) official, told the Frankfurter Rundschau daily, The Independent reported.

Media reports said that Stefan Jagsch from the NPD had swerved off the road and collided with a tree in the central German town of Büdingen, near Frankfurt.

The car crash occurred as a group of Syrian refugees passed the accident scene in a bus.

Two of the refugees rushed to the rescue of the stricken man, who happened to be anti-refugees politician.

They managed to pull the badly hurt politician from the wreckage and administered first aid, according to Spiegel Online.

Bild reported Jagsch suffered two broken legs and a cut to the face as a result of the accident.

Echoing the official position of NDP, Jagsch has previously made statements including ‘the boat is full’, ‘stop the asylum flood’ and ‘integration is genocide’

The NPD has attacked Chancellor Merkel’s laws on asylum for letting too many refugees and criminals into Germany.

More than 161,000 Syrians now live in Germany and the number is expected to grow further, making it the largest Syrian community in Europe.
