5 Ways to Make Sadaqah While at Home

In a hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), it’s reported that a voice was once heard commanding a cloud to irrigate a man’s garden.

When the man was asked what he did to deserve such a blessing, he replied that after estimating the produce of his garden, he would distribute one-third to charity, keep one-third for himself and his family, and invest one-third on the garden.

Just as Allah (swt) showered this man with His blessing, by sending a cloud to his garden, due to his charitable deeds, Allah will also provide for us in His own miraculous ways if we give what we love in the service of mankind. and seeking Allah’s pleasure.

As the hadith beautifully illustrates, Allah replaces whatever we give and even multiplies it.

But how can we give to charity in such hard times when most of us are stuck at homes, with many countries taking serious measures like quarantine and curfew to combat COVID-19 pandemic?
